Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Bruno Gaines, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, at 11 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street. Dublin. Reverend Doctor Johnny Vaughn will deliver the eulogy.

Bruce Bruno Gaines was born on March 17, 1961, in Dublin, Georgia, to the late Margie Gaines Blue. They relocated to Atlanta where Bruce spent the majority of his childhood. Later he returned to Dublin and received his GED in June 1978 from the Technical College System of Georgia. Mr. Gaines was a jack of all trades, and held many jobs during his life. In his leisure time, he enjoyed sports, including tennis, football, basketball, fishing, and cooking. He often prepared many meals that were enjoyed by family and friends. Mr. Gaines passed away on October 21, 2018, surrounded by family and friends.

Mr. Gaines is survived by his longtime companion of thirty years, Carolyn Floyd, whom he loved and cherished; she stood by him in sickness and heath. He is also survived by four children that they raised together, Chandrelia Floyd, Chaka Worthen (Hubert Worthen), Rodriques Floyd (Queisha), Jessie Hall (Kennedy), fifteen grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly, his father, Johnny Gaines, stepfather, Bennie Blue, sisters, Rhonda Gaines Scott (Alvin Scott), Sherry Gaines, and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 811 Central Avenue in Dublin.
