Ms. Bridgett Antoinette Forte 39 years old of Denton, Texas formerly of Clarksville, Texas, went to be with her Lord September 20, 2019 in Denton, Texas, will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 @ 2:00 p.m. at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, 501 S. Bridgett Antoinette Forte’ was born on February 14, 1980 in Borger, Texas to Debra Taylor and Greg Forte. Bridgett was the sister of five other siblings: Quincy English of Bogota Texas; Kachina Forte’ of McKinney, Texas; Kiersten White of Houston, Texas; Kineta Forte’ of San Antonio, Texas; and Arshayria Scott of Idabel, Oklahoma.
Bridgett attended Borger High School and was part of the athletic program where she participated in volleyball, basketball, and track. After Bridgett received her High School diploma, she went on to attend Texas A&M University Commerce where she received some college credits.
Bridgett accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a young age. She began her Christian journey at Bethel Baptist Church in Borger, Texas. And later moved to Clarksville, Texas where she moved her church membership to Zion Travelers Baptist Church under the Reverend P.A. Porchia. Bridgett loved her church and served in many committees within. Bridgett also loved to serve the community and has volunteered and worked many jobs. There was nothing she couldn’t do or would pass up not doing.
Bridgett was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gertie Bell and E.J. Forte, and her maternal grandfather Billy Sam Shavers. Her Aunt Judy Forte, Uncle Algie Forte, and Uncle Joe Shavers.
Bridgett leaves to Cherish her memory two children Colby Adam Villa and Keelan Charles Forte; Parents Debra Taylor and Greg Forte; Grandmother Fredonia Taylor; Two nieces Asia Lu-Ann Threadgill and Taighlor Lynn Ford; Five nephews Detavion Allen Lewis; Dexter Ahdorian Crain; Jalyn Lance English; Bradyn Garrett English; and Kamryn Andrew English; Five siblings Kachina Latrice Forte (Kevin Threadgill); Quincy English (LaTrishia Ann English); Kiersten Thomas White (Lee Alexander White); Kineta Yvette Forte (Stanley Ford); Arshayria Archell Scott; Two special Friends Cathy Porchia and Sharonda Smith and several aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.
