Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda V. Mason Lindsey, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2018, at the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2418 US Hwy 441 South, Dublin. Reverend Dr. Willie Edmond will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsey was born on July 4, 1950, in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia, to her parents, the late Virgil Otis Mason and the late Alma Babb Mason.
She had a special love for her family and friends. Mrs. Lindsey was raised in the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from the Oconee High School in 1968. She attended Albany State College. She worked several years at Clearview Cable Company and later decided to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from Heart of Georgia Technical College as a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at several nursing homes in Dublin and in Jeffersonville. She later returned to school and from Middle Georgia College, she received her RN certification after receiving her Associates Degree. She began working at Carl Vinson Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. After working as an LPN there for years, she retired from the Carl Vinson Medical Center. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Mrs. Lindsey’s husband, Norman Lindsey, preceded her in death. Mrs. Lindsey leaves to cherish her loving children, Deadra McCray, Atlanta, Georgia, Tonya (Komolafe) McCray, Dublin, Georgia, Belinda (Venson) Flint and Bertil Lindsey of Dublin, Georgia, one loving and devoted sister, Jacquelyn Wilcher of Rentz, Georgia, devoted nieces , Shantell Wilcher, Chloe Hunt, Caleia Hunt, Atlanta, Georgia, devoted cousins, Mandell Scrutchins, Donoie (Marglend) Mason, LeNora Mason Barlow, Henry Mason, Evelyn Mason, Macon, Georgia, Desma Coney, Richard Baker, Atlanta, Dorothy Mason, grandchildren, Devante’ McCray, Atlanta, Shabria Turner, Leesville, Louisiana, Ashaunti McCray, T'nyah McCray, Atlanta, Georgia, Latesha (Bryan) Howard, Deon (Paul) Hazley, Whitney Wright, and Brian Wright.
