YORK Robert "Bobby" David King, 62, of 261 Owens Road died Sunday, August 21, 2011, at his home in York. A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Bethesda Presbyterain Church Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Smoak of Bethesda Presbyterian Church will be officiating. Bobby was a son of the late Carl M. King, Sr and Maude Lewis King Gordon. He was retired from the York County Tax Assessors Office as an appraiser. He is survived by wife Teresa Hall King of York, SC, son David Andrew "Andy" King and wife Ashley of Plumas Lake, CA, daughter Julia Elena King of Basalt, CO, step father Mills S. Gordon of McConnells, SC, brother Kenneth Gordon of Townville, SC, and three grandchildren, Drew Anthony King, Spencer Timroth, and Layla Timroth. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl M King Jr. Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 6-8 PM.
