Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Jean "B. J." Williams, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the William Grove Baptist Church, 104 West Mary Street in Dublin. Bishop Otha Stanley will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born on April 10, 1947, in Dublin, to the late Lonzie Lee Broxton, Sr., and the late Essie Mae Broxton. She was employed at Fairview Park Hospital for more than 30 years where she was know as "Mrs. Bobbie". Mrs. Williams passed away on May 9, 2018, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Williams; her daughter, Brenda B. Carter; her sister, Ethel Stephens; and her brothers, Lonzie L. Broxton, Jr., and Ricky Broxton.

She is survived by one daughter, Regina Foreman of Dublin, two sisters, Essie Jean (Lee) Montford of Jonesboro, and Anginette (Karl) McRae of Union City, two brothers, James (Tracey) Broxton of Dublin, and Willie Broxton of Atlanta, one aunt, Lena White, one uncle, William Henry Fuqua, both of Gainesville, Florida, five stepchildren, a brother-in-law, Alphonso Williams of Valdosta, nine grandchildren and one son-in-law, Darryl Carter, and a host of nieces and nephews,

The family is receiving friends at 102 Carter Street in Dublin.
