Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Brantley Josey, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019, at 2 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church, 316 East Trilby Street in Wrightsville, Georgia. Reverend David Hall will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery

Mrs. Josey was born on July 1, 1950. She was educated at the Dock Kemp School in Wrightsville. At an early age, she joined the Antioch Baptist Church. She didn't meet no strangers! She passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Mrs. Josey will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Josey was preceded in death by her mother, Maudie Mae Brantley, father, Jimmy Dent, Sr., and half brother, Jimmy Dent, Jr., and by her husband, Leon Josey.

Mrs. Josey leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted son, Deon (Aundrea) Brantley, two step-sons, two devoted grandchildren, Deondria and Demoni Brantley, all of Dublin, four sisters, Rosie Brantley of Bronx, New York, Annie Davis, Dorothy Brantley, Mary (Curtis) Clover, all of Wrightsville, two brothers, Joseph Brantley of Atlanta, Jim Brantley of Dublin, one aunt, Christine Brantley of Tennille, six nieces, seven nephews, friends, Calvin Taylor and Jenelle Arline, a devoted puppy, Dakota, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 41 Flanders Street in Wrightsville, and the funeral procession will leave on Monday from 104 Short Street in Wrightsville.
