Bobbe Rae A. Woodington 79 of Brighton, Co. Passed away on Jan 20, 2022 after a hard fought battle of COVID-19 pneumonia. She was Born 12/11/1942 in San Francisco, CA. to Carl H. Kauffman & Irene K. Loefler. As a young woman she attended Hollywood Highschool. Afterwards she worked as a French/English interpreter in France during post WWII. She moved to Colorado in 1966 with Richard A.Woodington Sr. & their 2 small children. They lived on a small farm in Golden which later burned to the ground. Bobbe had just enough time to flee the house with the kids who were napping @ the time. Everything was lost. Starting over they married 8/14/1968 in Golden, Co. She lived & worked in various cities throughout Colorado. She moved to Brighton in 1976 until her children graduated & moved on. Then she relocated to Wyoming & ran Le Petit Pony ranch for several years in Lusk, WY. But returned to Brighton during her retirement years. She was a HUGE lover of animals. She supported many animal organizations. She volunteered her time @ several food banks. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Sr. (1935-2003), her son Richard Jr. (1964-2005) & great granddaughter Genesis (2015-2018). She is survived by her long time companion & friend Duane Kelley of Brighton, Her Daughter Stefanie A. Pulido (Woodington) & son in law José J. Pulido of Denver, 4 Grandchildren: Elijuh P. Gonzales of Arvada. Samantha R., Timothy M. & Taj Woodington, 5 great grandchildren: Marcus, Andre, Aurora, River & Reyner all of Lusk WY. Cremation provided by Tabor Rice Funeral home. A celebration of life will be 4/23/22 @ 1st Baptist Church of Keenesburg @ 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts. Please donate to a local animal shelter, rescue or sanctuary in her name.
