Bill Garrison YORK William "Bill" Ervin Garrison III, 68, of 912 Silver Charm Ln died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at his home in York. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 20, 2012 Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 10 W Liberty St. York, SC, with Rev. Dr Ed Jillson officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday following the service at First Presbyterian Church in York. Bill was a son of the late William Ervin and Audrey Copeland Garrison. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in York, was a maintenance and safety engineer, and was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War era. He is survived by wife Jane Braley Garrison of York, SC, daughters, Katie Trippe and husband John of Huntington, WV, Adrienne Singleton and husband Brian of Greenville, NC, and two grandchildren, Megan and Carter Singleton.
