Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Baker Waters of East Dublin, will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020, at 11 AM at the graveside of the Williams Chapel Mission Cemetery, Georgia Highway 29, East Dublin. Overseer E. Neal Dixon will deliver the eulogy.
Mrs. Betty Jo Baker Waters was born in Laurens County, Dublin, Georgia, to the late Mr. Sidney and Josephine Johnson Baker on July 7, 1945. Mrs. Waters retired from the Allen Bradley-Rockwell Automation Company as a Final Assembly Tester. She was also an Avon Representative, an Aloe Sales Person, and a member of the East Dublin Garden Club. She loved her family, flowers, an a special pet lover. She attended Royal Chapel Elementary School, and the B. D. Perry Elementary and High School. She earned a certificate from Swainsboro Technical School in Business Administration. Mrs. Waters passed away on June 2, 2020.
She is survived by a dedicated and loving husband, Mr. Willie T. Waters, a loyal and dedicated brother, Mr. Bobby Baker of East Dublin, three sisters-in-laws, Willie Mae Holland, and Hattie Richardson of Miami, Florida, Lillie Mae Phillips of Vidalia, three brothers-in-laws, Robert Waters, Dublin, Roy Waters of Porter, Georgia, and Fred Waters, Jr., of Miami, Florida, nephew, Tshobe Baker of Vidalia, Georgia, a niece, Crystal Martin of Atlanta, a furry friend, Lucky, goddaughter, Renae Martin of Milledgeville, Georgia, and a a host of special friends and relatives
