Betty June Lanning Laster, 64, of Clover went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
The funeral service will be at 3 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church in York with Rev. Marvin Carson and Rev. Eddie Carson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church in York.
Betty was a daughter of the late James Guy Lanning and Goldie Henard Lanning. She was a member of Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church, and was the widow of Rev. Clark Daniel Laster.
She is survived by her children, James Daniel Laster (Amanda), Crystal Dawn Laster Lambert (Michael), Rev. Robert Adam Laster (Beth), sister, Rita Lanning Gibson, brother, Coy Lanning (Sandy), and 8 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by brother, Dennis Lanning and sister, Bonnie Porter.
