Funeral services Ms. Bertha “Susie” Flowers, of Macon, will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 1:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1601 South Poplar Springs Church Road in Dublin. Reverend Robert Wilder will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Flowers, who passed on April 8, 2016, was born September 11, 1959, to the late Roosevelt and Frankie Mae Mitchell in Dudley, Georgia. She lived in Brunswick before recently settling in Macon.

She is preceded in death by four siblings: Clara (Bay-Bay) Wright, Mary, Martha, and Ernest Mitchell.

Survivors include her son Fredrick Baker; five brothers, Roosevelt Jr., Johnny, Michael (Katrina), Kenneth (Pamela), Ralph (Kaysheila); eight sisters, Lorraine (Will) McCloud, Patricia Lynn, Latha O’Neal, Terry (Roy) Waters, Brenda Mitchell, Rhonda (Alvin) Austin, Gladys Brimah, Deon Edmond, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 709 Paul Kennedy Road in Dublin and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, 6-7 PM.
