Funeral services for Mrs. Bennie Sue Cook, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Everlasting Gospel Non-denominational Church, 1300 South Jefferson Street in Dublin. Pastor Marcus Phillips will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook was born on January 7, 1973, to Rose McMillian James and the late Douglas B. James, Sr, in Glenwood, Georgia.

She received her education in Wheeler County, Wilcox County and Laurens County. Mrs. Cook was employed by Husqvarna Outdoor Products in McRae, Georgia, Zaxby's and Subway Sandwiches in Dublin, Georgia. She was a member of Fresh Fire Ministries of Dublin. Mrs. Cook passed away on October 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by Reverend Susie Mae Jones, her auntie who raised her.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio Cook of Social Circle, Georgia, her mother, Rose McMillian, Covington, Georgia, four sisters, Lorene (Tony) Tobler, Teresa (Willie) Howard, Monica (Brent) Farmer, all of Dublin, Georgia, Nyoka (Demetris) King-Denson of Porterdale, Georgia, one brother, Douglas James, Jr. , two loving aunts, Lucille Wilbur and Marthleen McMillian, uncles, nieces, nephews, and devoted living friend, Gregory Charleston and her best friends, Cassandra Rozier and Tonya White, special nephews, Tytrel Cannon and Poncé King, and a host of other relatives and friends.
