Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice White James, of East Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at 2 PM at the graveside in the Brazeal Chapel COGIC Cemetery at 590 Manning Drive in East Dublin.

Born on June 21, 1962, to the parentage of of the late Blanton White, Sr., and the late Susie B. White. She was educated in the Laurens County Schools and graduated from West Laurens High School in 1980. At an early age, she joined the Hogan Grove Baptist Church and later moved her membership to the Greater New Evergreen Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, was an usher, a youth Sunday school teacher and vacation Bible school teacher, and served on the kitchen committee. She was employed at Fairview Park Hospital and at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center until her health declined. Mrs. James passed away on April 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by one sister, Susie White Perry, and by one brother, Corbett Eugene White.

She was married to Arthur A. W. James. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving children, Shenequia James, Kaheem James, four devoted grandsons, Ja’Kobe Morris, King Morris, Karter Morris, Kamrayn James, whom she loved so much, Milton (Christine) White, Sr., of Dublin, Reverend Herschel L. (Jeanette) White, Sr., of East Dublin, Willie L. (Charlotte) White, Sr., of East Dublin, Blanton (Barbara) White, Jr., of Dublin, and Tommy C. White, Sr., of East Dublin, sisters, Bernice (Quentin) Brown, of Dublin, Sharon Hall of Dublin, and Patricia (Charles) Baker of Savannah, mother-in-law, Dorothy James of East Dublin, sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Cooper, Beatrice (Ronnie) Williams, Zena (Edward) Floyd, Sonja James, brothers-in-law, A. W. James, Jr., Frank James, Jessie James, aunts and uncles, Claudia (Reverend Henry J.) Davis, Sr., Joyce Cummings, Reverend Alton (Delores) Walker, Eura Lee Payne, Letha Russell, Ethel Mae Mack. Sally Eva Blash, Jerri (Moses) Blanton, Corbett Eugene White II, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Colleen White, Thelma Kemp Taylor, Elizabeth Ford and other devoted friends that she loved.
