Audrey Davis (Tfh)

Audrey Bell Gray-Davis was born on June 10, 1924 in Eldorado, AR but was raised in Magnolia along with her oldest sister the late Dolly Jones whom she so adored. She moved to Muskegon in 1941. Audrey married her Childhood Sweetheart Thurman Davis and was married for more than 53 years until his death in 1996. Together they raised Seven children Billye D. Davis, Danny (Paulette) Davis Rockford, Ill, Jackie Ray Davis, Judy Faye Davis, Charles Davis (deceased) Thernell (Chandra) Davis and Audrey Marie Davis. She went to Muskegon Community College where she earned her certificate in Nursing working in several hospitals here in Muskegon as a nurse's assistant.
Audrey raised Toy Poodles, Loved to Dress well (She was a Diva), Dance with her husband, children and grankids in the family living room and loved to Sing her Gospels "Walk with Me Lord" "I Heard the Voice of Jesus" and others and especially "White Christmas" around the Holidays, She sang up until her Transition home!
She excepted Christ around 1983 at Christ Temple Church under the Late Bishop Willie Burrell Sr.
Our Family will miss her especially her favorite niece Peggy Jones who would send her Roses every year on her Birthday. And her host of Grand Children and Great grandchildren who Admired and Loved her dearly. We Thank All of you for your Condolences and Prayers and ask that you continue to keep the Davis Family in your Prayers.
