Funeral services for Mrs. Ardie Mae Wells Wright, of East Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11 AM at the Holly Spring Baptist Church, 705 Buckeye Road in East Dublin. The Reverend Elgin Dixon will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Holly Spring Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright was born on November 30, 1930, to the late Annie Lee Plummer Wells and Ossie Wells, Sr. She spent her career as a homemaker. She made her transition from this life on August 9, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Lee Plummer Wells and Ossie Wells, Sr., her son, Nelson Wright, her brothers, Alfonza Wells, John Duncan, and John Albert Wells, her granddaughter, Zundra Wright.

Mrs. Wright leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Charlie J. Wright, her children, Nathaniel (and son, DeWayne) Wright of Albany, Georgia, Rosie (Barry) (and children, Brian, Jason) Wright of Miami, Florida, Betty (and children, Torrence, Arquan, Anthony) Wright of Miami, Florida, Alice (and children, Candice Sommer, Yokisha) James of Dublin, Mackey Wright of Miami, Florida, Annie (Jerome) (and children, Tyeshia, Brittany, Sa’Rah, Antwon) Thomas of Miami, Florida, Robin (and children, British, Maya, and the late Zundra) Wright of Dublin, Nelson (and son, Travis Gallashaw) Wright, and sisters, Cilla (Daniel) Wright, and Bobbie Coley of Dublin, and brothers, Ossie (Nina) Wells of Dublin, Palmer (Charlene) Wells of Wrightsville, Ulysee (Joann) Wells of Miami, Florida, and Robert Edmond, two great-grandchildren that she raised as her own, Jasmine Butler and Diamond Wright, and a host of nieces and nephews.
