Funeral services for Mrs. Arbutus Pauline Murphy, 91, of East Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018, in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street in Dublin. The family will receive visitors from 1-2 PM prior to the service. Bill Jones will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery in East Dublin.

Mrs. Murphy, the daughter of Henry and Pauline(Young) Tincher, was born in Fayette County, West Virginia, on June 19, 1927. Arbutus, or Gramma Boots as she was always called, loved time with her kids and gran children. After marriage to Edward Lawrence Murphy, Sr., she raised her family in Bloomingdale, Michigan. Years later she relocated to East Dublin, Georgia. She enjoyed painting and crafting and loved making gifts for local health care patients and preschools. Mrs. Murphy passed away peacefully surrounded by family at 12:34 AM, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Ballard (Freda) Tincher, Marie Bender and Delmas Tincher, her ons, Edward (Dalo) Murphy, Jr., Jessie Murphy, Robert (Karen) Murphy, and her daughter, Thelma Cowgill, grandson, Condon Mock, and by her great-grandchild, Cindy Hawthorne.
She is survived by her brother, Eldridge (Betty) Tincher of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, daughters, Della (Wilbur) Mock of East Dublin, and Naomi (Francis) Pike of Witt Springs, Arkansas. 29 Grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that all loved her so.
