Anthony accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Union Baptist Church in Detroit, Texas. He was a member of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Annona, Texas where he served as an usher and a member of the Men’s Chorus under the leadership of Pastor Blevins.

Anthony was faithful and believed in taking care of his family. He retired from Campbell Soup in Paris Texas in 2017 after 30 years of service. When he was not working, he loved coaching youth league sports. He always had time to catch his son Devon’s latest athletic track meet. He was a die heart Dallas Cowboys fan and supporter.
