Funeral services for Ms. Annie Pearl Wright of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 1 PM at the Mount Pleasant AME Church, 368 Bill Oliver Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Timothy Jackson will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Annie Pearl Wright was born on March 25, 1917 in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Siller Wright. She was sixth of seven children. Ms. Wright entered into the presence of the Lord on December 27, 2019.
Ms. Pearl as she was affectionately known, was educated in the Johnson County School System. She was employed with the Coca Cola Bottling Facility in Dublin, where she retired after many years.
Ms. Pearl's most enjoyable activity was fishing and cooking for her familay and friends. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant AME Church where she grew in the knowledge of her savior Jesus Christ. One of her favorite sayings was, "I'm Living for God". She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sisters, and brothers. Ms. Pearl leaves to cherish her memories many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 337 Pecan Place, East Dublin.
