Funeral Services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Spikes, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 11 AM at the God’s Divine Vision Ministries, Inc., 600 Telfair Street, Dublin. Reverend Tremaine Tarver will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church of Jesus Cemetery, 1265 US Highway 319 North, East Dublin.

Mrs. Spikes was born on December 28, 1964, to the late Roger Walker and Catherine Walker. Mrs. Spikes was a member of God’s Divine Vision Ministries, Inc. before she became ill. She was a devoted stay at home wife and mother. She was married to the late Rickey Spikes for 24 years before his passing on July 7, 2015. On May 20, 2019, around 2:15 am, she departed this life at Serenity Hospice. Mrs. Spikes was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Spikes; parents, Roger and Catherine Walker, granddaughter, Tynesha Walker; and by her brother, Roy Johnson.

Mrs. Spikes leaves to mourn her four children, Lakesha Walker, Annie Walker, Andrea (Lindsy) O’Neal, Sr. and Tiffany (LaShanna) Spikes; eight grandchildren, Reginald Walker, Isaiah Walker, Rickey Walker, Makayla Walker, Melvin Walker, Destiny Walker, Kylee Spikes and Larry B. O’Neal; twelve brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1224 Academy Avenue in Dublin.
