Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Fordham, 82, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:30 PM at Christ Deliverance Temple Church, 403 East Garner Street, Dublin. Pastor Gregg Washington will officiate. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill AME Church Cemetery. Mrs. Fordham, who passed on April 15, 2012, was born on March 12, 1930, in Laurens County. She was born to the late, Mr. Clarence Fordham and the late Mrs. Nina Young Fordham. She joined Zion Hill AME Church at an early age. She worked faithfully for Superior Laundry for many years. During her later years she worked for Dr. and Mrs. Evelyn Harper until she retired. Mrs. Fordham outlived one brother, Clarence Fordham, Jr. a son, Freddie Lee Fordham and a sister, Catherine Walker. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Bobby Lee Fordham, Dublin, Willie Stanley, Warner Robins, Tyrus Stanley, Dublin, Lamona (Curtis) Stanley, East Dublin, George Stanley, Austell, Sandra S. (Pastor Gregg) Washington, Dublin, Peggy Stanley, East Dublin three stepchildren, Johnny (Shataya) Stanley, Dublin, Rev. George (Evelyn) Stanley, Orangeburg, SC, Gregory (Yasheca) Stanley, Dublin, a niece whom she help raise, Cathy Wiggins one sister, Adlene Gordon, Dublin, two grandchildren whom she raised, Anthony (Meisha) Rozier and Shmari Stanley. Mrs. Fordham is blessed with twenty one grandchildren, forty=five great grandchildren, one great-grand, grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
