Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Reese, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11 AM at the Green Grove Baptist Church, 2418 Georgia Highway 441 South, Dublin. Reverend Ellis Carswell will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Annie Ruth Reese was born on October 27, 1930 in Scott, Georgia, to the late Mr. Abe Ross, Sr., and Mary Lizzie King Ross. At an early age, she joined the Corinth Baptist Church in Johnson County, under the leadership of Reverend Tony O'Neal. She was a long-time active member of the Central Baptist Church of Dublin, under the leadership of Reverend Ellis Carswell. She loved her pastor and church while diligently serving God, as well as her church and community. Mrs. Reese enjoyed family, fishing,cooking, and helping others. She was always willing to feed the hungry, and welcomed you into her home. She was like a mother to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Reese, three brothers, Abe (Betty) Ross, Jr., James (Betty) Ross, and Robert (Ann) Ross, one sister, Marie (Talmadge) Reese. Mrs. Reese passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Roosevelt (Ann) Ross of Dublin, and David Reese of Washington, D. C., two daughters, Delores (Nathan) Bryant of Clinton, Maryland, and Gloria Reese Thomas of Hyattsville, Maryland, two brothers, Samuel (Celestine) Ross of Dublin, and Otis (Evelyn) Ross, Sr., of Brookville, Virginia, one sister, Mary Ross, of Dublin, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 111 Shady Lane, East Dublin, and at the Green Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, November 25, 2017,10-11 AM.
