Annie Lou Smith
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lou Smith, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 3 PM at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. .
Mrs. Smith was born in Wilkinson County to the late Roger and Ola Mae Wynn. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Smith; son, Dennis Smith; two sisters, Claudia Holmes and Gussie Fordham.
She worked in the Dublin City School System as a food service employee for twenty-six years. She was a member of the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years until her health began to decline.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Willie Smith; two sons, John (Shakira) Oliver, Ronald Keith Oliver all of Dublin; four grandchildren, Latosha Kyler, Janyah Oliver, Malvis Stone, and John Oliver, Jr. all of Dublin; two sisters, Martha Turner and Nora Mae Jones both of Dublin; three brothers, Edward Wynn, Roger (Pam) Wynn of Dublin and Jimmy Wynn of Atlanta; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 710 Smith Street, Dublin.
