Funeral Services for Mrs. Annie Pearl Ivory, 86, of Montrose, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 1 PM at the Greater Union Grove Church of God In Christ, 4780 US Highway 80 West, Montrose. Superintendent Alton Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery

Mrs. Annie Pearl Ivory was born on December 2, 1930, to the late Mr. Johnny and Essie Mae Harvard. She was the oldest of three children, and was known by all for the love and devotion she gave to her family. In September of 1953, she married the late Mr. Rollie Ivory, Sr., and they raised nine children. She was a true woman of God, and was a member of the Greater Union Grove Church of God in Christ. Her light was a symbol of love and joy for anyone who knew her, and her kindness that she bestowed was a true gift to all. Mrs. Annie Pearl Ivory was a loving mother, wife, and friend. She was dedicated to her family, and to serving God. On May 24, 2017, she received her wings. She was preceded in death by her son Lewis Mack.

She leaves to cherish her memories two brothers: Deacon Johnny (Effie) Harvard of Miami, Florida, and Billy (Lynette) Hudson of Vidalia, Georgia. four sons: Johnnie (Sharon) Harvard of Miami, Florida, Bobby Ivory, Rollie (Debra) Ivory, and Billy Ivory of Montrose, Georgia. four daughters: Lillie (William) Smith of Dublin, Georgia, Alice (Leporia) Logan of Chicago, Illinois, Peggy Dicks of Montrose, Georgia, and Darlene Ivory of Dublin, Georgia. Mrs. Ivory is also survived by forty grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She also leaves behind her best friend for over 60 years, Mrs. Hazel Thomas, and her honorary son whom she loved, Superintendent Alton Jones.
