Anadell Burch
YORK -- Miss Anadell Burch, 91, of York passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Gene Feagin officiating. The family will recieve friends following the service in the church parlor. There will be a private burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Anadell was born July 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Burland Jackson Burch and Mary Alexander Burch in Mt. Croghan, SC. She worked for many years as a Secretary for the Clerk of Court in Chesterfield County, SC and later as a secretary to the mayor and city manager of Charlotte, NC. She retired in 1982 and moved from Charlotte to York, SC. Anadell was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in York, SC.
She is survived by her sister, Carol B Moody of Westminster Towers, Rock Hill, SC, three brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Burch of Indian Trail, NC, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henry Burch, Sr. of Florence, SC, and Mr. and Mrs. James Davidson Burch of York, SC, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Anadell was preceded in death by two brothers, Burland Jackson Burch, Jr, and Lynn Rhyne Burch.
