Funeral service for 55 year old, Mr. Amos Dockins of Clarksville, TX who went to be with his Lord, August 8, 2021 at Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX, will be August 14, 2021, at 2:30 p.m.at United Holiness Church, 305 Fulton St, DeKalb, TX, with Rev. Kevin Haywood eulogist. Interment will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery, DeKalb, TX

Viewing will be Saturday August 14, 2021 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the church prior to service.

Amos Dockins was born June 27, 1966 to Essie and Vernice Dockins in Dekalb, Texas.
He was the 12th child of thirteen and both parents; nine siblings preceded him in death. Amos accepted Christ at an early age at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He graduated from DeKalb High School in 1984. He remained in the DeKalb area until his passing.
Amos worked on assembly lines for many years. He was a Denver Broncos Fan.
On Sunday August 8, 2021 God relieved him of all pain and suffering.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Maria of Clarksville, Texas, 3 sons Kristofer Gaffney(Lakquesha) Amos Gaffney and Chevin Dockins all of Dallas, Texas and one daughter Chassity Harmon of Clarksville, Texas, 5 grandchildren, one brother Earnest Dockins of Oklahoma City, sisters Diane Dockins King of Oklahoma City and Tereca Hill (Terry) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Amos was one of the sweetest, most humblest people you ever want to meet. He was friendly to everyone he came in contact with. He loved watching football and going to the casino from time to time.
God gained a true angel! You will be in our hearts forever!
