Alzada Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Alzada C. Johnson, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Grove Baptist Church, 78 Mitchell Grove Church Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Ricky Stanley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, who passed on March 19, 2017, was born on October 4, 1943 in Johnson County to the late Willie Clover, Sr. and the late Ella Lee Wright Clover. Mrs. Johnson attended Dock Kemp School. also attended Swainsboro Technical School where she received a degree in nursing. She was a previously employed at Dublinair Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Frank Johnson; brother, Willie Roger (Annie Pearl) Clover, George Clover; sisters, Mary Nell (Joe) Powell, Ola Mae (Aaron) Hicks, brother-in-law, John McClendon; sister-in-law, Mary Clover.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Curtis (Mary) Clover, Wrightsville, Debra (Kenneth) Bond, Jesup, Willie (Annie) Johnson, East Dublin, James (Vickie) Johnson, East Dublin, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; brothers, Willie "Bill" (Janice) Clover, Jr., East Dublin, Early (Lori Ann) Clover, Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Bessie McClendon, East Dublin, Maxine Clover-Garcia, Dublin, Annette (Sheldon) Hall, Wrightsville other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 128 North Elm Street in East Dublin.
