Funeral services for Mrs. Alnita Rozier Anderson, of Rentz, will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 1 PM at the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, 3265 Highway 19 South in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Pearly Chapel Cemetery at Greater New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Roger Edwards will officiate.

On Sunday, January 25, 2015, Mrs. Alnita Rozier Anderson transitioned from life to death. She was born on November 6, 1942, to the late Matthew and Luvenia Snell Rozier. She was preceded in death by her daughter, LaTonia R. Smith and one grandson, Ryan K. Pooler. She graduated from the Mary Fleming School and was a supervisor for many manufacturing facilities in the Dublin-Laurens County community. Her last employment was with Middle Georgia Easter Seals.

Mrs. Anderson was very active in her church, Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, and in the community. At Greater New Friendship, she served in many ministries including Mass Choir, the Usher Ministry, Married Couples Ministry, both the Food and the Nursing Home Ministry. Her quiet humble spirit and desire to serve will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 51 years, Johnny Roy Anderson, four daughters, Jetty (Sammy) Plummer of Harrisonburg, VA; Wanda Kaye (Leroy) Street of Rentz, GA; Valery (Greg) Pooler and Deborah Dollar of Dublin, GA; two sons, Kent Whitten of College Park, GA and Jemont Anderson of Albany, GA; one son-in-law, Darren Smith of Dublin; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Johnson of Detroit, MI and Ina Cooper of Dublin, GA; brothers, Richard (Catherine) Rozier and Curtis Rozier both of Dublin, GA; and John Rozier of Tuscaloosa, AL; sisters-in-law, Minnie (John) Powe and Lillie Jones both of Detroit, MI; Shirley Wright, Betty (Joseph) Williams and Bessie Anderson all of Rentz, GA; brothers-in-law, Earl Anderson Sr. of Miami, FL; Curtis (Mary) Anderson, Emory (Ethelrene) Anderson and Marvin (Angela) Anderson all of Rentz, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1875 Anderson Road in Rentz and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-7 P.M.
