Funeral services for Mr. Allen James, Sr., 81, of Glenwood, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at the graveside in the Starlight Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 786 Georgia Highway 19 in Glenwood. Bishop William Hollis will deliver the eulogy.

Allen James, Sr., cherished father, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2020, afternoon after a long illness. Allen was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County. He was a hard worker, a lover of people and of the Christian Faith.

He was married to the late Jeanette James for 42 years. He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Floyd of Warner Robins, and Allyn James of Douglasville; two sons, Allen James, Jr., of Lithonia, and John James of Macon; and one sister, Lucille Wilbur of Dublin.

Viewing for Mr. James will be on Tuesday, May 19, 4-6:30 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home.
