Obituary Notice Alice Carroll YORK Alice Brandon Carroll, 83, of 402 E. Liberty Street died Friday, August 24, 2012, at her home in York. The funeral will be at 11:00 am on Monday August 27, 2012 at Bratton Funeral Home. Revs. Thomas B. McPhail and Ed Jillson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am Monday at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Burial will be private. A native of York, Alice was a daughter of the late Issac Lonnie and Lillian Robinson Brandon. She was the widower of Luke Carroll, Alice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in York, and retired from Celanese Corp., was former member of the Rock Hill YMCA Silver Fox Club, the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her son, James L. Carroll and special friend, Karen Fowler, her grandson Brandon Alexander Carroll, her “adopted” daughter and special friend Alisa Brown Carroll step granddaughter, Amy Hollingsworth of Chester, and 2 sisters, Lillian Brandon Dinklage (Kenneth) of Belmont, MA, Susan Brandon Adkins (Johnny) of York, and her brother Issac Leon Brandon (Marie) of Hampton, VA., and number of nieces and nephews.
