Funeral Service for 93 year old, Mr. Algie Lee Rose Sr. of Clarksville, Texas who went to be with his Lord March 10, 2016 in Clarksville, Texas will be Wednesday, March 16, 2016 @ 1:00 pm. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksville, Texas with Dr. L.E. Cole officiating.

Mr. Algie Lee Rose Sr. was born April 30, 1922 in Acworth, Texas to the parentage of Ed and Estella Rose. Algie accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Olive Baptist Church. He served as a deacon and Sunday school superintendent.
Algie received his education in Acworth, Texas. His employment included Red River Army Depot, Sailor Products and hay hauling. He enlisted into the United States Army on November 20, 1944 where he served during World War II. He received an Honorable discharge November 29, 1946. Algie and Emma married January 1, 1949 in Clarksville, Texas.
He loved God, his family and life and lived it well.
He was preceded by both parents, two brothers: Eddie V and Noble Rose; one sister: Willie; two daughters: Gloria and Stella; one son: Algie Jr.
He will truly be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories
His loving wife of 67 years, Emma Rose of Clarksville, TX
Four children: Billy, Gertha (Marvin), M.L, and Tony all of Clarksville TX
23 Grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 22 great-great grands.
