Funeral services for Mrs. Algerine Whirl Tinsley. of Dudley, Georgia, will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 11 AM at the New Vision Missionary Baptist Church, 951 Field Street, Dudley, Georgia. Reverend Horace Austin, Jr. will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Rocky Creek Church Cemetery in Dexter, Georgia.

Mrs. Algerine Whirl Tinsley was born in Laurens County Georgia on November 16, 1933, to the late Henry and Martha Whirl. She was a former employee of the Georgia Plywood Company, and Bassett Furniture Company. She was a faithful member of the New Vision Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail. Mrs. Algerine Whirl Tinsley was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Pilgram, and Florine "Candy" Hester, and husbands, Alonzo "Pete" Blackshear, and Idus Tinsley. She passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2018.

Mrs. Tinsley leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Don L. (Pamela K.) Whirl, grandchildren, Shari W. (Christopher) Burley, Shayla Whirl, and Montreal Whirl, a great granddaughter, Kiersten Burley, a sister, Irene Crawford, a niece, Shirley Cunningham, a stepson Reverend Robert (Joann) Fullwood, god-daughter, Lillie Ruth Irvin, a brother-in-law, Joseph (Annie Belle) Adams, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 813 Fred's Lane, in Dublin.
