Alfonzo Knight

Memorial services for Mr. Alfonzo Knight, of Dublin, Georgia, are being planned for a future date and will be announced later. Mr. Knight will be buried at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. Alfonzo Knight was born on March 5, 1965, in Soperton, Georgia, to the late Ira Dell and Willie Knight. He served in the United States Army and in the Army Reserve from 1985 until 1993. He was employed for a number of years with the Dublin City Schools. Mr. Knight passed away peacefully on March 31, 2020.

Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Dell and Willie Knight, one brother, Danny Knight, and by one grandchild, Christina McKenzie Fowler. He is survived by three daughters, Femalelei Fowler, Clarissa Knight, and Jakayla Kellem, and by one son, Richard Fowler, all of Dublin, Georgia, one granddaughter, Makayla Glover, his brothers, Frank Knight of Dublin, Bobby Lee (Mary) Knight of Dublin, Georgia, Carlos Knight of Dublin, Georga, Charles Knight of Dublin, Georgia, and one sister, Willie Pearl Knight of Florence, South Carolina, one aunt, Emma Lou Mosley of Louisville, Georgia, and one uncle, Albert Knight of Jacksonville, Florida. He will also be greatly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
