Alene Guice

Alene Finlay Guice, 82 years young, passed from this earth and went to her Lord and Savior at 11:46 p.m. on August 27, 2014. She was born May 25, 1932 in Llano, Texas to Walter and Bertha Finlay. Alene grew up and graduated from Millersview, Texas in 1949.

On May 17, 1949, Alene married Frank Guice in Ballinger, Texas. They spent 44 years of marriage before Frank proceeded her in death in September 1992. They lived most of their married life in Eden, Texas where they farmed and ranched. After 25 years, Alene retired from the Texas Highway Department in Eden, Texas.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Paula and Bob Rudloff of Eden and Kathy Crimm of San Angelo.

Grandchildren, Dee Dee Roberts and husband Chad, Jessica Kibler and husband Jon, Jennifer Crimm, James Rudloff and wife Olivia, and Tinki Kunz. Ten great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren. One sister, Dorothy Stephenson of Coleman, one sister-in-law, Deloris of Coleman and several nieces and nephews.

Alene was proceeded in death by her husband, Frank, grandson, Tracy Rudloff, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation is 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Halleluiah Trail Cowboy Church on Highway 87, Eden, Texas. Burial is in Eden Cemetery.
