Albert Stanley

Funeral services for Mr. Albert Lee Stanley, Jr., of Dublin, will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017, at 11 AM at the Mount Tilla Baptist Church, 2424 Highway 441 North in Irwinton. Pastor Carlos Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stanley, who passed on December 29, 2016, was born September 22, 1959 to the late Albert Stanley, Sr. and the late Lillie "Ellen" Stanley.

He joined Mount Tilla Baptist Church at an early age. He attended West Laurens High School where he played football, basketball, and wrestled. He was an employee at Southeast Paper Mill for over twenty years. He enjoyed cars, riding motorcycles, karate, drawing, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by a very special and devoted friend, Randall Lloyd.

Mr. Stanley leaves to cherish his memories to his only son, Albert Lorenzo (Brittney) Stanley, III, Dublin; three daughters, Tiffany Sasha Stanley, Tamikia King both of Dublin, Kamelia Washington, Macon; stepmother, Anna Ruth Stanley; stepbrother, Johnny Frank, both of North Carolina; half brother, Charles Mitchell, Dublin; five aunts, Lenette (Ulysses) Hines, Hollywood, Florida, Lucille Turner, Lois Stanley, Hazely Brantley, Ethel Taylor all of Dublin; six uncles, Cleveland (Annette) Jones, Early (Betty) Stanley both of Atlanta, Oscar (Annie) Jones, Carlton (Christine) Jones both of Montrose, Dole (Judy) Stanley, Serlester Stanley both of Dublin, twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 381 Stanley Cemetery Road in Dublin.
