Funeral services for Doctor Albert Earl Jones, of Atlanta, will be held on Friday, March 8 ,2019, at 11 AM at the C. D. Dudley Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Benjamin Martin, Jr. will deliver the eulogy.

Albert Earl Jones was born on September 14, 1940, to the late Grady Lamb and Bertha Jones Murphy. He attended and graduated from Albany State College and University in Albany, Georgia, with a degree in Micro-Biology. He taught classes at Atlanta University, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and worked at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta. He was also a master brick mason, and the author of two books and seven pamphlets on cancer and menigitis. Doctor Jones passed away on February 28, 2019.

He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Gail Jones of Columbus, Ohio, two brothers, Dwight E. Jones of Columbus ,Ohio, Thurgood M. Jones of Lithonia, Georgia, two sisters, Rossie M. Wiggins, of Soperton, and Bertha B. Jones of Soperton, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
