Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Edwards, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the God's Divine Vision Ministries, 600 Telfair Street in Dublin. Pastor Ricky Stanley will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mitchell Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Edwards who passed on July 16, 2017, was born on February 12, 1942, in Laurens County to the late Rev. T.W. Pooler and Mrs. Phadoshia Pooler. At an early age she joined Mitchell Grove Baptist Church. Later she joined St. Peters Baptist Church. She attended Dublin and Laurens County schools.

Mrs. Edwards was joined in holy matrimony to Robert Durham who preceded her in death. Later, she married Robert Edwards, who also preceded her in death along with her three brothers: Ronnie Pooler, Henry Pooler, and Charles Myricks.

She is survived by a daughter, Lillian Pooler, Macon; a sister, Faye Boston, Dublin; two brothers, Thomas “Ted” Pooler (Cora) Rentz and Eclemus Brown Pooler (Betsey) Dublin; three aunts, Mary James, Dublin, Mamie Burney Dublin, Juanita Myricks, Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family is receiving friends at 109 West Garner Street in Dublin.
