Funeral Services for Mr. Abe Ross, Jr., of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 12pm at the Lovely Hill Baptist Church in Soperton. Rev J. K. Smith, Sr., will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Abe Ross, Sr., and Mary Ross of East Dublin, three sons, two daughters, and two brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Betty Powell Ross, five sons, Curtis Ross of Orlando, FL, Raymond, Billy, and Leon Ross of Washington, D.C., Gary Powell of Baxter, two daughters, Ivene Ross of East Dublin, and Carolyn Coward of Clinton, MD, two brothers, Samuel and Otis Ross, Jr., of Dublin, three sisters, Marie Reese of Grove City, OH, Annie Reese and Mary Ross of Dublin, son and daughter in-laws, sister-in-laws, grandchildren, nieces nephews and a host of relatives, extended family and friends. The body will be placed in church one hour prior to service. Visitation will be at the family residence, 127 Star Circle, East Dublin. Services by Dudley Funeral Home
