Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Williams, Sr., of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 2:00 PM at the Everlasting Gospel Non-Denominational Church, 1100 South Jefferson Street in Dublin. Pastor Willie L. Edmond will officiate. Interment will follow in the Royal Springs Mission Cemetery.

Mr. Clarence Williams, Sr. was born on January 27, 1950, to the late Ike and Emma Lou Blassingame Williams. He was funny, loving and caring. He took care of his family working thirty years with Bassett Furniture, five years at the Coca-Cola Plant and three years at the Pepsi Plant, and at Dublin Burial Vault Company in Dublin. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 64. He was also a devoted member of the Gentlemen’s Society Club. He departed this life and crossed over to heaven’s gates on September 19, 2016.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Williams, Robert Lee Williams; six sisters, Nora Mae Allen, Roberta Mitchell, Mary Dell Williams, Pastor Geneva Blue, Alberta Williams and Janice, Stewart; and by a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Williams.

Mr. Williams leaves to mourn and cherish his life his devoted wife of forty-eight years, his “Candy”, Mrs. Elnora Williams. He leaves to carry on his legacy two sons, Clarence (Rekelly) Williams, Robert (Nicole) Williams both of Dublin; six daughters, Kimberly (Robert) Wicker, Teresa (Travis) Holliday, Mardith (Clifton) Brown, Ranel Williams and devoted friend, Drek, Anginette (Alex) Bell, Danelle (Quinton) Ashley, all of Dublin; five devoted god daughters, Lashana Dixon, Dalesk Snell Monroe, Christal Jenkins, Barbara Rayals Patterson, Sabrina Rayals and Kenia Mitchell Smith; three devoted god sons, Christopher Kemp, Juwan Kemp and Rodreques Kemp. Leaving in mouring are two brothers, Albert (Nita) Williams, Tommy Williams of Dublin; two sisters, Betty (Joe) Keaton of Orlando, Florida and Annie Pearl (Samuel) Holliman of Dublin; a loving mother-in-law, Deloris Dixon; devoted sisters-in-law, Doris Lewis of Dublin, Dorthy Jean Witley and Lenora Harvey of North Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Thomas and Henry O’Neal of North Carolina, twenty nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends, Ricky (Azetha) Allen, John Lee Parks, Johnny Brown, LA Ervin and Willie “Wolf” Timmon; devoted family friend, Jackie Bedingfiled.

The family will receive friends at 810 South Washington Street in Dublin.
