Funeral services for Mr. Willie James "Scooter" Woods, Jr. of Dublin will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 12 PM at Wabash Church of God, 500 Telfair Street, in Dublin. Minister Cheryl May Holmes will officiate.

Mr. Willie James Woods, who passed on November 17, 2013, was born on July 30, 1957, to the late Willie James Woods, Sr., and Claretha Moore. He was reared by the late W.J. "Bill" Pooler and Mrs. Mildred Pooler of Dublin. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marisha Mack; a stepson, Kendrick Mack; three sisters, Doretha Clay, Lillian McClain, Joann Pooler and a brother, Earl Pooler.

He is survived by four sons, Roverto (Kathryn) McCloud of Atlanta, Traveorn Kentay Woods of Iowa, James (Bridgette) Woods, and Darrick Freshley; stepson, Derrick Mack all of Dublin, sixteen grandchildren, Jacobe, Justin, Kentavious, Jordan, Javeon, Kovie, Caedyn, Jamine, Darick, Dericka, Tekia, Keo, Keyon, Zariah, Teyanna, Cameron, one great grandchild, one aunt, Lois Middlebrook, one uncle, Douglas Moore of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Velteen (Larry) Gardner, Sandra (Donald) Whipple; three brothers, Freddie (Calen) Pooler, Andrew (Dr. Eyvonne) Pooler, Lieutenant Colonel Derryl (Lieutenant Colonel Susan) Pooler; a devoted companion of thirty two years, Florine Mack and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 601 Hudson Drive in Dublin.
