Funeral services for Mr. Willie Daniel Spikes, of Dublin, will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church, 800 North Decatur Street in Dublin. Reverend Korie Baker will officiate.

Mr. Spikes, who was born May 24, 1946, to the late Dee Spikes and Ethel Spikes in Dublin. He was preceded in death by a son, Jawaun Kaselle Spikes.

Mr. Spikes is survived by his mother, Ethel Spikes; his wife, Vivian Spikes; children, Shirley Smith, Lisa Charleston, Willie Green Spikes, Denise Michelle Spikes Coney, Kayutte Var Spikes, Keshawn Omar Spikes, Conswaila Renee' Spikes and Shaneka Lytiese Spikes; son-in-law, Jerome Coney; daughter-in-law, Dianee Spikes; sisters, Ruby Dee (Robert) Williams, Ethel Mae (Bennie) Wright, Rosemary (J.C.) Snell, Margie (Bobby) Blocker; brother, David St. George; in-laws, Barbara (Billy) Brown, Rhonda (Calvin) Brown, Sidney (Dot) Brown, Darian (Connie) Brown; aunts, Essie Mae Patterson, Lula Lewis, twenty-four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Dudley Funeral Home on Sunday, May 4, 6-7 pm.
