Funeral services for Mr. Willie Benjamin "Weebie" Nelson, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 2 PM at the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2418 Highway 441 South in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery in Dublin. Reverend Milton Hughes will officiate.

Mr. Nelson, who passed on January 2, 2014, was born on August 6, 1950, to the late Mr. Adam Nelson, Jr., and Eva Della Rozier Nelson in Laurens County. He joined Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He was preceded in death by a brother, James "Bubba" Nelson and sisters, Eula Mae Robinson and Mattie Jane Williams.

He was retired from Ansco and Associates and from mechanical work. He attended Dublin City Schools.

Mr. Nelson leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Mrs. Latitrella Nelson (Maurice) Washington; sisters, Addie Washington of Dublin, Martha Crawford of Miami, Florida, Johanna White of Dublin, Marilyn Nelson of Miami, Florida, who was raised as a sister; brothers, Dorsey Lee Nelson of Dublin, Johnnie L. Nelson of Dublin; granddaughter, Yo'Tyvee Washington of Dublin; uncle, Levi (Juanita) Rozier of Dublin, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.

The family will receive friends at 301 Ella Street in Dublin.
