Funeral services for Mr. Willie Tommy Hudson, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 11 AM at the Howard Chapel United Methodist Church, 508 South Washington Street in Dublin. Burial will follow on Tuesday, October 13, at the Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Hudson, who passed on October 5, 2015, was born on September 12, 1940 to the late Mr. and Mrs. S.T. Hudson in Dublin.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, he joined the Howard Chapel United Methodist Church where he served actively in many capacities until his health failed. "T", as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was always smiling and willing to serve.

Mr. Hudson is survived by two sons, Roderick Marquez (Katrina) Hudson of Augusta, Willie Tommy Hudson, Jr., of Dublin; sister, Jessie Jenkins; nephew Kevin Hudson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; grandson, Roderick Hudson, Jr., of Dublin; granddaughter, Irene Hudson of Michigan, and Marcus Hudson of Augusta, three great-grandchildren; cousins, Mary Hudson, Willie Hudson and Bennie Hudson of Philadelphia; devoted friends, Roosevelt and Catherine Robinson, four nephews, three nieces and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, 7-8 PM.
