-- Wade Hampton Meredith, Jr., 66, of 712 Nutmeg Lane passed away Monday, May 23, 2016, at his home in York.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church, 475 S Shiloh Road, York, SC.
Wade was the son of the late Wade Hampton Meredith, Sr. and Pauline Broome Meredith. He was retired from Celanese and was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by wife Rose Steele Meredith of York, SC, son Wade "Dugan" Meredith (Leslie) of Rock Hill, SC, step children, Jennifer Myers of York, SC, Amanda Myers of Lake Wylie, SC, Rebecca Steele of York, SC, and Brian Steele of Lancaster, SC, and nine grandchildren, Shelby Meredith, Sydnie Rae Meredith, Kendria Brown, Kendrick Brown, Destiny Littlejohn, Desiree Littlejohn, Haley Outen, Brandon Steele, and Devin Outen. In addition to his parents, Wade was preceded in death by his sister Marlene Meredith.
