Funeral Services for Mrs. Vonda Lavette Perkins Goddard, 54, of Milledgeville, will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11 AM at the First African Baptist Church, 206 Martin Luther King Drive, Vidalia. Reverend Christopher Brantley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old Salem Cemetery, Uvalda.

Mrs. Goddard was born to the late Betty Jean Nichols and Julious Walton.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Nichols; grandmother, Lovella Perkins; and grandfather, Hilton Nichols Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, spouse, William Goddard of Milledgeville; grandmother, Ethel Nichols of Reidsville; children, Natisha Young of Alamo, Quinten Perkins Sr. of Vidalia; stepchildren, Kenyetta (Sammuel) Hartry, Markella Goddard, William T. (Tarneshia) Goddard, and Anterio Goddard all of Milledgeville; father, Julious (Henrietta) Walton of Tampa, Florida; brother, Rodney (Darlena) Bowens of Connecticut, and DeAndre (Felicia) Edmonds; sisters, Julia (John) Frazier, and Reycyne (Row) Smith of Tampa, Florida; twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives; and special friends, Sharose Franklin and Jeanelle Robinson.

The family will receive friends at 2779 Irwinton Road, Milledgeville.
