We are heart broken at the loss of our beloved Gennie , she had a heart attack on Valentines morning and went to the Baptist Health hospital and during the night she worsened. Early the morning of the 15th her little heart gave out. We are devastated, to say the least! We have to remember the good, happy times and celebrate her life with a memorial service on Sunday Feb 17th at Harts Funeral Home Corbin, Ky. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Wells cemetery in Keavy, KY. Brother Don Stidham & Rob Thurmond will be officiating. ~Virginia Anne Eaton, age 62, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013, at Baptist Health. She was preceded in death by her husband William Edward Eaton, her father, Ellis Wells, and mother Lottie Williams Wells.She was a faithful member of the Keavy Church of Christ and was employed until retirement after 27 years by the American Greeting Card Corp. She was the oldest of four children: brother, Stephen Wells, sister, Debbie Wells Williams (Trulin) of Keavy and sister Judy Wells Hicks (Darrell) of London; nephews: Michael Williams, Gerald Williams, Stephen Williams, and Darrell Mackenzie Hicks. Also, she is survived by her only son James “Jaime” Eaton and his wife Jennifer of Mt. Vernon. She was the proud grandmother of three grandchildren: Austin Eaton, Jenna Eaton, Jackson Eaton, who will miss her greatly. She leaves behind other family members and many loving friends, all to mourn her passing.Funeral services for Virginia will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Stidham and Bro. Rob Thurmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:30 Sunday at the Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin, KY.
