Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Lee Dixon, Sr., of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2 PM at Saint James CME Church, 1608 Lovett Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Willie McCormick will officiate. Interment will follow in the Carter Cemetery.

Mr. Dixon, who passed on April 1, 2015, was born on June 20, 1950, to Willie Kate Dixon and the late Willie Lee Dixon. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Dixon.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife, Janice Dixon of Wrightsville; children, Tommy Lee (Regina) Dixon, Jr. of Sandersville, Jessica (Tavares) Norris, Lekia Butler, Tommy Lee Butler all of Wrightsville; mother, Willie Kate Dixon' brothers, Ralph (Geneva) Dixon of Harrison, Henry Lee (Bonnie) Dixon of Wrightsville and Lonzo (Louise) Dixon of Atlanta; sisters, willie Mae Dixon, Glolry Irwin, Pearline Phillips and Dorothy Dixon all of Sandersville; grandchildren, Tamerica (Daniel) Shelly of Tokyo Japan, Tayshaun Dixon of Sandersville, Jacarey Butler, Tanariya Norris of Wrightsville and Raven Washington of Sandersville; aunts, Lona Mae Carswell and Leola (Dan) James of Midway; uncles, Isodora Burden, Alexandra Burden of Delaware; special friends, Janice (Matthew) Waters, Bill (Cathy) Johnson and L.J. Brown, all of Wrightsville, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 2606 Piney Mount Church Road in Wrightsville.
