Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Coney, Sr., 68, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, at 11 AM at the Dudley Funeral Home in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel. Reverend Rogers Allen will officiate. Interment will be on Monday at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Coney, who passed on September 21, 2015, was born on July 3, 1947, to Toi and Alzada Coney. He was a member of the class of 1966 at Oconee High School where he was on the basketball team. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and fought in the War of Vietnam. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and an avid fisherman.

Mr. Coney is survived by his children, Tommy (Amber) Coney, Jr., of Snellville, Christopher Coney (Stephanie Braswell) of Jonesboro, James Coney (Shakita Glass) of Morrow, Cleartis "Mike" Coney of Morrow; grandchildren, Tommy Coney, III, Trenton Coney, Tyler Coney, Tanner Coney, Trace Coney and Andrew Coney; mother of his children, Caller Coney; a companion, Louise "Toon" O'Neal, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 6-7 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home.
