Funeral services for Mr. Shondria Donta Surry, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 1 PM at Mount Cilla Springs Baptist Church on Turkey Creek Road in Danville. Reverend Dannie Surry will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Surry, who passed on November 16, 2014, was born on August 11, 1980, to Gloria Jane Surry and Toscanell Smith, Sr. He attended West Laurens School. and at an early age, joined the Mount Cilla Spring Baptist Church. He was employed by Candlelight Hotel and by several car washes.

Mr. Surry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Hattie Surry, Sr., and Deacon Mark and Katie Mae Smith, and by a brother, Toscanell Smith, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Smith-Surry; daughter, Shantel LaShun Surry; parents, Gloria Surry and Toscanell Smith, Sr.; stepmother, Stella Smith; step grandmother, Evelyn L. Martin; brothers, Christopher (Jacy) Smith, Army Captain Michael (Ernaeka) Smith; god-brothers, Fredrick Fordham, Terrence Webb; godmother, Diane Smith May and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many fiends.

The family will receive friends at 521 Pinedale Circle, Lot A2 in Dublin.
