Funeral services for Ms. Sara J. Smith, 41, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mount Tilla Baptist Church, 2424 Hwy 441 North in Irwinton. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Kendrick Smith will officiate. Ms. Smith, who passed away on May 20, 2012, was born December 14, 1970, in Laurens County. She was born to the parentage of Mr. John Luke and Margaret Smith. She received her education at West Laurens High School and later a Degree in Accounting at API in Milledgeville. She was employed with Southland Nursing Home. Ms. Smith will be sadly missed by her devoted family. She leaves to mourn behind two sons, Nicholas Bernard Smith and Malik Antwan Smith both of Dublin, six sisters, Judy (Doyle) Stanley, Debra Smith, Mary Ann (Curtis) Cummings, Barbara Ann Smith, Lesia Jones, and MauRene Smith all of Dublin, two brothers, John R. Smith, Jr. of Dublin, and Avis (Nancy) Smith of Warner Robins, seven nieces, five nephews, one great niece, two great nephews, two god sons, Troy Ashe (Yolanda Holmes), DeMonche (Priss) Walker along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
