Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Jackson, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 11 AM at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Interment will be held in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Winfred McCloud will officiate.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Freeman Holliman. She attended Dublin City Schools and was a lifelong member of the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson retired from the Fairview Park Hospital after thirty-five years of faithful service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jackson, and daughter, Shirley Swint, and one sister and seven brothers.

Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Allen of Dublin, Linda Jackson of Atlanta, Joyce Ware of Dublin, and Debra (Ervin) Anderson of Americus; one sister, Inez Whitfield of Miami, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Emma Holliman and Kathleen Holliman both of Marietta; eleven grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jackson will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.
The family will receive friends at 412 Williams Street in Dublin.
